I was bugged (no pun intended) by the lack of proper class support for PHP's XML parser. I was
lurking through the changelog, and apparently you can set your element and character handlers like
such:
xml_set_element_handler($this->parser, array(&$this, "StartElement"),
array(&$this, "StopElement"));
... where array(&$this, "StartElement") is an array to the object and the method that
should handle the starting XML element. (This array goes in place of the function name string).
Using v4.0.6, It's working like a champ so far! YMMV.
