mysql_field_flags() seems useless.
After much time lost tinkering with it, I finally got what I needed (field type) with the following:
$result=mysql_query("show columns from tablename like 'columnname'");
$object=mysql_fetch_object($result);
echo $object->Type;
Pardon my ignorance, but what excactly is mysql_field_flags _supposed_ to do again??? All it ever
did for me was "not_null" no matter what I tried.
