To get number of rows in odbc result you
can use this small function
function GetNumRows($rs){
$NRows=1;
$switch=true;
do{
if (odbc_fetch_row($rs, $NRows)){
$NRows++;
}else{
$switch=false;
}
}while ($switch);
return $NRows-1;
}
