I have used the <pre>print</pre> statment to span multiple lines (i.e.
<pre>
print "
something here
something there
something everywhere
";</pre>)
and it seems to work just fine, but I may be running the beta 4 version of PHP. Perhaps it
dosn't work with 3.x
