Just an FYI:
You can use PL/SQL in your OCIPARSE()!
That gives you some serious options to make your queries far more efficient! SO PEOPLE, I don't
want to see anybody returning the results AS-IS and parsing in PHP!
$sql="DECLARE tt varchar2(20) := 'Ford Explorer'; BEGIN INSERT INTO test (cst) values
(tt); END;";
$con = ocilogon("test","test","newora");
$stmt = ociparse($con,$sql);
ociexecute($stmt);
