I turned off cookies for sessions using ini_alter("session.use_cookies","0"). The session variables wouldn't be remembered on the page it started on, but *would* be remembered on the page after. Checking the /tmp directory, the sess_* file wouldn't be created until the second page loaded. This didn't work: session_register("reg"); $reg[$foo]["first"] = "Jack"; $reg[$foo]["last"] = "Black"; This worked: $reg[$foo]["first"] = "Jack"; $reg[$foo]["last"] = "Black"; session_register("reg"); They both work if you allow cookies.
