Developers should be aware that while the "parent" syntax makes it easy to call functions
in the parent class -- there is no generalized mechanism to call the parent constructor.

This means that if you want to call the parent constructor and then later want to change the parent
class, you must still go through and edit all of your references to the parent class constructor.
