There needs to be an option to turn off only being allowed one connection to one database. The
nature of the script that I am writing at the moment requires multiple connections to different
databases running under one instance of mysql on our local server. The reason for this is that
the software is designed to dynamically connect to a number of different databases (mysql, msql,
oracle etc.) all at the same time. If it just happens that two of the databases I need to connect
to are on the same machine, on the same server, then it confuses the program a great deal when the
connection handles are the same and it tries to access data that are in two different databases.
