You can set and retrieve a cookie with a dynamic name.
setcookie("product_$p", "some info", time+666, etc...);
then to retrieve..
$tmp = "product_$p";
if ($dynamic_cookie = ${$tmp}) {
print "found cookie $tmp = $dynamic_cookie\n";
}
