Cookies do work with IE6...but due to new 'default security settings', problems can arise
when you start using cookies from within a frame set - particularly if the page is from a different
domain/host than the parent frame-set page.
This applies EVEN if the cookie functionality is restricted ONLY to pages inside the framset.
For example... if someone has some static pages hosted in their webspace, and call in some dynamic
pages from another host within their own static frameset (i.e. frame-ing off to a third-party
shopping cart or something), then cookies, and thus, sessions, will not work.
The only way I've found to get round this is to change the security settings in IE6 to LOW.
The only other way is to serve frameset and ALL of it's sub-pages from the same host/domain.
Personally, I think IE6 is going to cause a lot of trouble for the many sites out there that use
third-parties for the dynamic bits of their sites.
