note 17450 rejected from faq.installation by jimw

I installed Apache and PHP on Win ME. I have php.ini in c:\windows and also in c:\php. When i start Apache the window shows PHP running. <html> <head> </head> <body bgcolor=white > <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="php"> echo "Hello World"; </SCRIPT> </body> </html> Also i tried with <?php echo "Hello World"; ?> This code doesnt return anything. Not even any error. When i right click for source. i am able to see the script which is supposed to be the serverside and not suppose to show. I am not able to find any hint. Please help me. I have set the httpd.conf with the following. LoadModule php4_module c:/php/sapi/php4apache.dll AddModule mod_php4.c ScriptAlias /php3/ "/c:/php/php.exe" AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .php3 Action application/x-httpd-php3 "/php3/php.exe" Thanks N.Balaji
