note 9016 deleted from install.windows by irc-html

Hi, just got php set-up on a win-98~Apache. Struggled through. the problem was, that note pad was adding a .txt at the end of my php files. So if you get a error message like "unable to open C:\your webstuff\test.php in unknown on line 0", the problem is notepad is adding a .txt at the end. so test.php, looks like test.php.txt So click save as in notepad, and make sure that *Save File As Type* is at *All Files*. Oh and leave the php.ini alone, just set extension_dir to "c:\php" I hope that this saves someone the struggle i went through. Best Wishes, :)
