The value of tm_yday appears to the in the range 0..days_in_year-1, while the range for tm_mday
seems to be 1..days_in_month. So for today, 5 Jan 2002, localtime(time(), true) sets tm_mday to 5
and tm_yday to 4. I'm using "appears" and "seems" here because I
haven't done any further testing. I just wondered why the fifth day of January happens to be
the fourth day of the year.
Clear as day, isn't it?
