i think maybe require() doesnt understand relative paths (at least from what i've tried).
just put the entire path in the require slot
(e.g. if the file resides in "/home/httpd/htdocs/", try using
require('/home/httpd/htdocs/somedir');)
if THAT doesnt work, try parsing the file yourself on the command line and see what if any errors
occur
