I created a varchar field in SQL Server 2000 that has size 6000 chars. When I query from Query
Analyser, the result on the display from this analyzer is complete with 6000 chars. However, when I
query via PHP by command mssql_query, the result displayed is only the first 255 chars and the rest
is gone... Here is the code from which I got the result 255 chars.
<?
$query = "select f1 from test";
$result = mssql_query($query);
while ($row = mssql_fetch_array($result)){
$author = $row["f1"];
echo $author;
}
?>
...Can anyone tell me what is wrong with this query? and how can I get 6000 chars full, not just 255
chars?
Thanks,
Apple
