Not sure if you were referring to this but...
If you declare a function within a function, the embedded function will not see the variables in the
parent function, but the variables in the script as global. Example:
<PRE>
<?
$A = 1;
function foo(){
$A = 2;
function subfoo(){
global $A;
echo $A;
}
}
?>
</PRE>
Will return 1.
