Another common pitfall- it was not well specified in the manual prior, but if the name of the input field is <pre><input type=file name=blah></pre>, then the name of the file variable data (ie "$userfile, $userfile_size, $userfile_type") will be "$blah, $blah_size, $blah_type, etc..." This probably allows multiple file inputs on the same form (ie, <pre>name=source, name=destination</pre> or something). Anyway, it confused me, hope it helps somebody else.
