A couple note for those wanting to use the above sample script for handling redirects: The reason some site redirects may not work is because this script only looks for a Location: header, but in the wild some HTTP servers use a "Found:" header instead. Both of these can be used by modifying the appropriate regexp to say "(Location|Found):" instead of simply "Location:". <P>It is also unnecessary to use the full URL in the HTTP request header, as this script does. If you have problems with some HTTP servers, try replacing $url with $uri (the URL without protocol and hostname) in the HTTP request string sent to the HTTP server; this will satisfy some marginal server implementations.
