$HTTP_REFERER doesn’t work anymore... Just to save you some hassle if you are migrating your PHP-code to the „safer“ PHP4.1: if “register_globals” (PHP.ini) is “off”, $HTTP_REFERER doesn’t work anymore, use <getenv (‘HTTP_REFERER’)> instead. use <foreach ($_SERVER as $key => $val) echo ($key." => ".$val."<br>");> to get a list of the new $_SERVER array, which is just briefly mentioned in the change-notes. I use <$_SERVER["HTTP_HOST"]> and <getenv (‘HTTP_REFERER’)> to check, whether visitors came from within my webpages. -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.variables.predefined.php http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+18390 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+18390 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+18390
