On redhat 7.1, im compiling php 4.1.1 with imap support for apache 1.3.19.
I used:
./configure --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs --with-mysql --with-imap --with-kerberos
--with-imap-ssl
and it worked fine but i got this error during make:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgssapi_krb5
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [libphp4.la] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/tars/php-4.1.1'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
When exporting env vars (export LDFLAGS="-L/usr/kerberos/lib -lkrb5 -lgssapi_krb5 -lpam")
i get:
checking whether the C compiler (gcc -L/usr/kerberos/lib -lkrb5 -lgssapi_krb5 -lpam) works... no
configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler cannot create executables.
Any Ideas?
BTW, Im compiling php separate from apache.
