note 18607 added to function.imagecreatefromgif

hello. I'm pretty new to this, and help would be greatly appreciated. I have php 4.1.1 i have enabled gd, but i get: "Warning: ImageCreateFromGif: No GIF read support in this PHP build". I read the comments above and have downloaded the patched gd from here: http://www.rime.com.au/gd/. But i don't know how to compile or do anything with it. if you guys could send me a php_gd.dll or instruct me on how to build it, i would really appreciate it. Thank you. -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.imagecreatefromgif.php http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=edit+18607 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=delete+18607 http://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php?action=reject+18607
