After receiving the following error message:<br>
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: pg_connect()...<br>
I wondered why I had got the message. It took me quite a while to work out why but the following may
help for people who have had similar problems... :o)<br>
In the MySQL function page, there is a paragraph that says:<br>
These functions allow you to access MySQL database servers. In order to have these functions
available, you must compile php with mysql support by using the --with-mysql option.<br>
However there is no mention of this in the PostgreSQL functions page. In order to use the PostgreSQL
functions you must compile PHP with PostgreSQL support by using the --with-pgsql option.<br>
See http://www.php.net/manual/en/install.configure.php#install.configure.databases
for more information about how to configure PostgreSQL.
