note 18906 added to function.mail

I have a problem $message =" Hello's "world's"; mail("test@test.com","test","$message") this is nog gone work because in the message there is a " how do you fix this? $message= STRIPSLASHES($message); But now you cant use <b>hello</b> any more! How do you fix that?
