note 19179 added to function.addslashes

Hi, I tried to pass an object between pages using the serialize function to get the byte-stream and the unserialize function to get the object back again. But still I get this nasty warning message: Warning: unserialize() failed at offset 3 of 193 bytes in ........ When I looked at the object attributes they were all empty, what is wrong? I really need to get this thing solved.
