It is probably worth noting explicitly that even if your class name has upper case characters in it,
you must compare with an all lower-case version. E.g., suppose your class is called
"myClass", and you've got an instance of it in $foo. The code
is_subclass_of($foo,"myClass")
will return FALSE, but
is_subclass_of($foo,"myclass")
will return TRUE.
