Lukas's solution also works for Red Hat 6.0 with kernel 2.4.16, gcc version 2.7.2.3 or 2.95.3
and glibc 2.1.3-15. Evidently the PHP configuration routine failes to define HAVE_SYS_RESOURCE_H on
a variety of systems.
