Hello,
I would like to create a login page, that checks the correctness of the login info, and then,
initialized a session (without the use of cookies) and opens the next page to display further
visitor's options.
So, on the login page, I set the session var as:
$HTTP_SESSION_VARS["thisVisitor"]=1;
Then, I try to upload the next page and display $HTTP_SESSION_VARS["thisVisitor"],
and 0 is displayed indicating that the value is not known to the page or something like that.
I guess, I have not grasped the notion of using the sessions. Can anyone explaint to me whether it
is at all possible to use sessions without cookies, and how to keep track of session variables on
different pages of the application?
Thank you
