PHP doesn't seem to support arrays in this feature. Example:
$a = "foo[]";
$$a = "one";
$$a = "two";
$$a = "three";
That won't work like:
$foo[] = "one";
$foo[] = "two";
$foo[] = "three";
Instead, nothing happens. That would have been fine...
