I tried several sort of php configuration but it keeps core-dumping when pdf_open_image_file() is
used with tiff files... it works great with jpegs.
Here is the latest config used:
cd php-4.0.6
./configure \
--with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql \
--with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs \
--enable-track-vars \
--with-oracle=/usr/local/oracle \
--enable-sigchild \
--enable-static \
--enable-shared \
--enable-shared-pdflib \
--enable-cxx \
--with-pdflib=/usr/local \
--with-zlib=/usr/local \
--with-jpeg-dir=/usr/local \
--with-tiffauxlib=-ljpeg \
--with-tiff-dir=/usr/local
and here is the software installed:
pdflib-4.0.2.tar.gz
jpegsrc.v6b.tar.gz
tiff-v3.5.7.tar.gz
libtiff-lzw-compression-kit-1.3.tar.gz
zlib-1.1.4.tar.gz
# libpng-1.2.1.tar.gz
I applied the patches as stated by the pdflib notes, and tied both with and without the lzw patch in
libtiff (and either uncompressed and lzw compressed tiff images).
I wonder if there is any version mismatch and if anyone has succeeded in using tiff with pdflib (as
all the examples are for jpeg indeed).
Thanks for any hint, mauro
