You can use strstr to make a simple e-mail verification , like this :
function checkEmail ($email){
// Check to see if E-mail contains "@" or "."
if (!strstr($email, "@") or !strstr($email, ".")) {
$check = "Error in E-Mail";
}else{
$check = "E-Mail OK !";
}
return $check;
}
