opendir() is reading the filesystem, so if you need a reference to a directory that is very deep
under your www directory, you need to fully reference that in your opendir() statement. For example,
I had some backgrounds in /home/gthomas/public_html/backgrounds that I needed to get to to
randomize. So, the function was opendir("/home/gthomas/public_html/backgrounds"), as
opposed to ("./backgrounds"), because this would break the site if you were one recursion
in.
