note 20395 added to install.windows

I also recently installed php4.1.2 on a IIS5/W2K Compaq server. I use php websites internally and wanted to take advantage of the GD Lib. My main issue was that when I uncommented out the extension=php_gd.dll line in php.ini, my sites would freeze. I knew that the extensions dir was important to identify, but did not know the correct way to place it in the php.ini. The way it worked for me was: extensions dir in php dir on my C drive... php.ini line: extension_dir = C:\Php\extensions (no quotes) Hope this helps others...
