Hello to all,
I thought I'd pass this little tidbit after searching high and low for a good webhost that
supports PHP4 and Interbase. There aren't very many webhosts that do, and if they did either
they are way too expensive or just didn't really have a robust IB installation in place.
I eventually found one at www.blacksun.ca. I have used them since June 2001 and am very happy with
their service. The tech support is prompt and top-notch. Ask for Jay or Steve.
They are running PHP 4.0.6 and Interbase 6.01 with the latest security patches. And they are also
running ibWebAdmin which a web-based IB DB admin interface that is written in PHP, too. This tool is
just great for remote admin of your db.
BTW, I don't work for these guys - just a very satisfied customer with a couple of PHP/IB sites
hosted with them.
