For example, on http://www.yourdomain.com/path1/file.php
If you use:
$url = "http://www.yourdomain.com/path2/file.php";
header("Location: $url");
With certain older versions of IE, the browser redirects to http://www.yourdomain.com/path1/www.yourdomain.com/path2/file.php
So, instead you can use 301 or 302 with the location, example:
header ('HTTP/1.0 301 Moved Permanently');
header("Location: $url");
exit;
