not sure if this has been changed in php4.04 or something but the mktime documentation is incorrect
as far as finding the last day of the month. (this is under the debian php4.0.3pl1 package)
The listed code will return the timestamp containing the last day of the month previous to the one
given(not the month itself). Putting a Date("d", ... ) around both of the mktimes will fix
the problem.
