the above link to the chmod tutoral is retarded and a security risk (of your files) waiting to
happen, it tells you to chmod directories 777 and data files 666 is this guy an idiot or what?
Also,
I tried to use chmod on a file that is owned by username.usergroup (for instance) and it wont work
even though the executing script and the file its trying to chmod are of the same UID... am i doing
somehting wrong or is the post above just incorrect?
