The function below can be used to get the reverse of functions like htmlentities (i.e. to convert
back from things like & to &):
function un_htmlentities ($string)
{
$trans_tbl = get_html_translation_table (HTML_ENTITIES);
$trans_tbl = array_flip($trans_tbl);
return strtr($string, $trans_tbl);
}
