How to use PHP 4.2 with Apache/2.0.35 on Windows:
- Follow the general installation instructions
- Open "httpd.conf" of Apache 2
- Add the following lines:
LoadModule php4_module %PATH_TO_PHP%\experimental\apache2filter.dll
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .phtml .php3
