i tried to compile apache 1.3.14 with php 4.0.4 on sgi irix 6.5.x with sgi cc. i tried to use sgi cc
because of a problem between gcc and the sgi library (logs full with 255.255.255.255-referrer. try
dejanews for more informations).
compiling apache with sgi cc was no problem. but i was not able to build php with sgi cc. instead i
used gcc to build a dynamic module (--with-apxs) for apache.
unbelievebal but it works... :)
now i have usable logs and php support.
