We updated our Apache from v.1.3.20 upto v.1.3.24 and PHP from v.4.1.2 upto v.4.2.0 (and also set up
mod_ssl v.2.8.8 for Apache).
It's strange, but from that moment, upload-file posted variables never become
"none". If no file uploaded, variable is just empty (and defined).
Some of our _very_ old bad written scripts contain condition:
if (isset ($upload) && $upload != "none") {....}
Which is now always true.
Of course it is not good programming. But it's now hard to find all of that pieces of code in
all of our sites.
So, that is the question. Is that a planned feature of a new version, or can that an application
(php, Apache) bug?
Please, answer us by e-mail, if that is possible.
Thanks beforehand.
