Be sure that if you compile PHP 4.2.0 with Apache 2.0.35, as a Apache Shared Module, you replace the
line `with-apxs=/path/to/apxs' with 'with-apxs2=/path/to/apxs'
eg:
./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs
