If you are having problems with imagegif() or imagepng() you might want to check the config.h and
make sure it has the correct HAVE_LIBGDxx defined. It seems to default to HAVE_LIBGD16 even when
compiling with older versions of libgd. Make sure you have #define HAVE_LIBGD15 or #define
HAVE_LIBGD14 defined (and you are using that version of libgd) if you want to use gif functions.
