The above example does not seem to work against our Cyrus IMAP server - the connect stage works ok,
and returns a stream handle, but after some seconds it times out with imap_last_error return as
"Too many login failures".
Ive tried the above against another IMAP server (not cyrus) and suprise suprise it works.
This is obviously something either specific to cyrus or our particular configuration. Will continue
investigation - but if youve been here before, please save me from re-inventing the wheel ;)
