According to the main PDFlib manual you do not need to use the font metrics file
"pdflib.upr" if you specify one of the 14 built-in fonts as mentioned in a previous note
here.
However, not setting the resourcefile seems to always produce the error message "
Fatal error: PDFlib error: Resource configuration file 'pdflib.upr' not found"
