Any advice below about the advantage, need, or
better style of religiously using
OCILogoff after creating a connection (persistent or otherwise), are no longer true. According the
PHP sourcecode in the 4.0.3pl1 release, this function *does not do anything* anymore; it's
literally commented out (see the comments by weasle in
http://www.php.net/manual/function.ocilogoff.php)
