I'd tried to output the info & data of the blob field.:

$sql = "SELECT id,name,pic FROM employee";
$result = ibase_query( $dbh, $sql );
if (list($id,$name,$pic) = ibase_fetch_row( $result ))
{
print "$id $name";
$blob_data = ibase_blob_info("pic");
$blob_hndl = ibase_blob_open("pic");
print ibase_blob_get( $blob_hndl, $blob_data[0] );
}
else
echo "Load Failed<br>";
echo "*******************************************************<br>";

every time i used ibase_fetch_object($result) to fetch records, nothing return!!???

However the result was not what i want:
