Something that i didn't realise until recently is that cookies set by a phpscript sets the
expiring time according to the php-server clock and the cookie deletes according to the users local
computer time. This means, setting a cookie that expires in 10 minutes is quite risky since the
visitors clocks many times are going far from correct.
I might be wrong, but you should try som script and test before you tell me i'm wrong. i found
it hard to believe, cause it makes cookies quite useless many times, unless you involve javascript
to set a correct expiration time for each user.
please tell me if i'm wrong or right, cause i'm not 100% sure on this one.
