Well, I've stumbled on having querystrings while using php to dynamically create xhtml-strict
pages.
The problem is the & sign, and that it doesn't validate. I've tried to just change the
argument-sepparator with
ini_set("arg_separator.output", ";");
ini_set("arg_separator.input", ";");
which validates, but then I can't get the variables using $_GET[]. As I understand it the input
should be set to the same character as is found in the querystring.
I've solved this by simply calling for the first argument like this:
$foo = explode(";",$_GET["bar"]);
$bar = $foo[0];
$bar1 = $foo[1];
and so on. Works fine untill you add sessions to this bioling little cauldron. I've deactivated
cookies (to make sure it works anyway) and I have trans-sid enabled. The page can't notice that
a session is already active and so starts another one instead. Is there anyway around this? I
havn't found it yet anyway. I'll keep on searching...
