Note: If $_SESSION (or $HTTP_SESSION_VARS for PHP 4.0.6 or less) is used, use unset() to unregister
a session variable.
In fact, unset doesn't have the expected behavior, it only unsets the variable for the
execution of a particular script. Use session_unregister to completely erase the variable from the
session.
