When using the PHP Interpreter as a binary, it is possible to write a normal Command that can be
run from the shell, simply put:
#!/usr/bin/php
on the first line and make it executeable with:
chmod u+x thescript.php3
with the -q option (missing in the documentation):
#!/usr/bin/php -q
the Script wont output any HTTP-header information.
BUT how is it (if) possible to get access to the parameters when called as a command:
thescript.php3 x y z
or to the contents of STDIN:
thescript.php3 < somefile.data
This would enable every Developer to use 100% PHP3 in every project.
In an application with far above 1MB this can be VERY important. Is there a way to solve my
suffering and put PHP to the next level?
